Dr. Bijan Roboubi
Dr. Mani Firouzian
Dr. Mani Firouzian earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University Pomona and M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental and Civil and Environmental Engineering, respectively, from University of California Irvine. He holds a Professional Engineer license in Chemical Engineering in the state of California and multiple Greenhouse Gas Accredited Lead Verifier licenses from California Air Resources Board.
He has been working in the field of engineering for the past 17 years in different capacities such as Senior and Supervisor Engineering roles. During this period, he served multiple engineering and consulting firms as well as few government agencies including Orange County Sanitation District, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Trinity Consultants Company, B. Braun Medical, Fluor Enterprises, Inland Empire Utility Agency, and Trussell Technologies Company.

Dr. Tina Givrad
Bijan Roboubi is the founder and principal attorney at Abar Law, a boutique estate planning and business planning law firm based in Long Beach, California. Prior to establishing his law firm in 2020, Dr. Roboubi was a senior construction manager at the Port of Los Angeles, where he managed over $150 million worth of heavy civil and marine construction projects. Dr. Roboubi is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and USC, where he earned his Bachelor‘s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, respectively, and he is also a graduate of Loyola Law School.

Tina Givrad holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. She began her career as a systems engineer at Boeing North America and later completed a four-year postdoctoral appointment at USC across the Departments of Neuroscience, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and Biomedical Engineering. Her research examines the intersection of neuroscience and emerging technologies, with a focus on neural implant design and brain–behavior relationships. She has presented at regional neuroscience conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Givrad is currently a faculty member at California State University, Los Angeles, where she continues to integrate research, technology, and pedagogy.
Dr. Mo Sangeladji
Emeritus Professor Mo Sangeladji received his Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1975. He taught 5 years at University of Texas, San Antonio before moving to California. He started his teaching as a full time Professor at CSUN in September 1979. He is certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA), certified cost analyst (CCA), and a Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. He started his accounting firm of M.A. Sangeladji in 1983 providing accounting and tax services to small and medium-sized clients.
He also taught as senior adjunct professor at California Lutheran University (CLU) from Fall
2007 till 2016. During 37 years of teaching, Professor Sangeladji has trained over 10,000 students, who are today successful accountants, managers, executives, employees, and above all trustworthy and ethical individuals.

Dr. Mohammad Navab
Dr. Mohamad Navab who is a professor of cardiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine and has been with the Department of Medicine since 1983. Prior to that he was at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at UCLA; was head of clinical labs and faculty at National University of Iran Medical school. During the 1970s he studied and conducted research at Columbia University Cardiology. He has had 215 publications as indexed by NIH, presented over 200 national and international invited lectures and has received awards from NIH and the American Heart Association. With the group at UCLA Cardiology, they formulated an anti inflammatory peptide that went to clinical trials. He is on a dozen patents related to this compound.

Professor Kamran Abedini is one of the founding members of APSIH and a former Chair of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Dr. Jalal Torabzadeh
Professor Jalal Torabzadeh is Chair of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department and Coordinator of the Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering programs.
