Mission Statement

"To create and promote scientific cooperation and enhancement within the social relationship of professors of Iranian Heritage and scholars within the governing laws of the United States of America without any discrimination on the basis of ethnic origin, sex, religion and political ideology."

This association is a non-profit and independent educational organization without any bias toward any particular political, ideological, or religious group. Moreover, this association shall not participate in, endorse or repudiate any political, religious, or ethnic movement.

The objectives of the society are as follows:

1. To establish, facilitate and promote scientific cooperation and exchange of educational, scientific, and scholarly views among members, professors of Iranian Heritage and scholars.

2. To recognize and promote scientific and professional contributions of members, professors of Iranian Heritage and scholars.

3. To conduct scholarly and educational activities with professors of Iranian Heritage and scholars.

4. Provide scientific support to members, professors of Iranian Heritage and scholars.

5. To offer scholarly and educational support to students of Iranian Heritage.

6. To enhance the social relationship of members, scholars and students.

7. To expand membership and activities of the association to other geographical locations.

8. To participate in other philanthropic and educational activities in accordance with the purpose of the Association. All such activities are subject to the approval of the general membership and Board of Directors.

APSIH Organizational Structure:

The two main bodies of the Association are the Board of Directors and the Standing Committees.  Please refer to APSIH Officer's Page for further details.

The principal office of the transaction of the business of the corporation is to be located in the county of Los Angeles, State of California.

This corporation is not authorized to issue shares of stock. The existence of this corporation is to be perpetual. The By-Laws of the corporation shall be adopted by the Directors named in the Constitution and may thereafter be amended or repealed by any means provided in the By-Laws.
